David and Betsy Hill met at Boston University (BU) while involved as students in Christian ministries on campus.
David grew up with 5 brothers and a sister. His family moved to Boston from Amherst in 1989 as his Dad began a new church. While attending BU, David was actively involved in Chi Alpha campus ministries and serving a new church plant in Brighton, MA which is now our sponsor church, Abundant Grace. During his time at college, David led a movement to unite Christians at BU for prayer, fasting, and worship. The result was an early morning weekly unity prayer meeting, which continues today, and a gathering of hundreds of BU students at BU’s first United Praise Night.
After graduation in 2003, David worked in the financial services industry in downtown Boston for two and half years. While working, he organized a city-wide campus movement called Involution which gathered students on several campuses in Boston for worship and prayer for revival.
